Awad Transportation LLC is a Michigan-based motor carrier specializing in box truck freight. We provide expedited, scheduled, and dedicated route service with 26-foot liftgate trucks.

Leadership

Awad Transportation was founded by Yousef Awad, whose background is in warehouse and inventory operations rather than driving. He has worked in inventory control and quality analysis at a national third-party logistics provider supporting automotive manufacturing in southeast Michigan, covering receiving, reconciliation, and the investigation of inventory discrepancies.

That perspective informs how the company is run. Most service failures are not driving failures; they originate in documentation, dock scheduling, and communication. The operation is structured to catch those issues before they affect a customer's shipment.

Safety and compliance

We operate under our own motor carrier authority with active liability and cargo coverage on file. Drivers are qualified under 49 CFR Part 391, enrolled in a DOT drug and alcohol testing program, and queried through the FMCSA Clearinghouse before they run for us and annually thereafter. Driver qualification files are maintained for every driver on the roster.
